The name says it all because these are BIG Cream Puffs.
Fall is one of the best seasons of the year, especially because it is fair season! This trip was worth it to The Big E in West Springfield Massachusetts. The address is 1305 Memorial Ave West Springfield, MA 01089. You can ONLY get these cream puffs DURING the Fair, the dates are a little different each year but generally, it is three weekends in September, this year it was Friday, September 13th- Sunday, September 29th.
Anyways, back to what’s important: THESE cream puffs. They are fluffy, not too sweet, and the puff itself melts in your mouth as you eat it. Everything about them is amazing. And as you can see from the picture, the size does not disappoint either.
The price is a bit hefty, but you get what you pay for. They are $6 per cream puff, but with the size of them, they are perfect for sharing. Two people split this, and there was still more left over. They also offer a featured flavor every year at the same price – this year, it was cookies and cream! And they did look amazing, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to eat more than half of one, let alone 2!
You can get these one of two ways, either order online and avoid the long line – you can order right on The Big E Bakery website and choose your pickup time. OR you could choose to wait in line and watch everyone’s faces light up when they get their Cream Puffs – the entertaining way. The line does go really fast either way!
